観光経営のパラダイム・シフト ~VUCA の時代における未来志向の学びについて~
In the time of COVID-19 the travel industry is looking more to immersive technology to adapt to heavy disruption. Using virtual and augmented reality, tour operators, hotels, and other travel companies are offering experiences that can be enjoyed without having to be exposed to the health risks of the pandemic. This disruption in the travel industry has also affected our conference, and our plans to travel to the city of Kyoto, Japan to share our research have been cancelled. Eric Hawkinson, an immersive technology research based in Kyoto, has provided a series of virtual tours and environments so we can simulate the experience of being in Kyoto together for our conference.
*英語・日本語併用で実施予定です。

Hello! My name is Jeff Berglund. I was born and brought up in the United States, but I've been living in Kyoto, Japan since 1969, when I came to study Japanese language and culture. I hope that experiencing Kyoto this way on the Internet will make you actually want to come and visit! Kyoto is indeed one of the finest cities in the world!
